The Kalan Lab opens! Dr. Lindsay Kalan joins the faculty of the University of Wisconsin-Madison as an assistant professor in the department of Medical Microbiology & Immunology.
Alex Cheong joins the lab! Alex is a graduate student in the Microbiology Doctoral Training Program interested in microbial community interactions. He grew up in Klang, Malaysia and received his B.S. in Cellular, Molecular, and Integrative Biology from Beloit College, WI. Outside of lab, Alex enjoys cooking, volleyball, and playing Irish music.
